Christine Cornege, Grand Prix Showjumper

Vetpro are proud to support Christine in her efforts to attend the final of the FEI World Challenge in Ecuador in September. Christine is a photographer living in Cambridge, New Zealand. She has worked in the newspaper industry for nearly 10 years covering major events all over the country and winning many awards along the way.  She loves to photograph everything and anything, but in the summer months you will see her ring side at Equestrian events photographing competitors in between riding herself.

Sarah Wilkinson, NZ Dressage Rider currently based in Germany

“The bay mare is Koko, at her recent event where she passed the KWPN mare IBOP test in the Netherlands. She’s only 4 years old, so just a baby!

Hello, the chestnut is my 7yo mare.

Over the next season, I plan to keep producing my 4yo mare slowly and in her 5yo year start introducing her to some young horse shows to gain experience. And with Hello we have really been working on the basics, so hopefully next year we have a really solid PSG tour for young horses. She knows all the tricks for her age but there is much more quality that can come! Once we have this I hope to start competing her for the PSG.”

My name is Sarah Wilkinson, I am a 26 year old New Zealand Dressage rider and grew up in North Auckland, Kaukapakapa. As a young rider in New Zealand I won multiple Young Rider titles throughout NZ, North Island Championships, Regional Championships and won two FEI Children’s World Challenges.

After completing my university degree, I was eager to move to Europe to further my training and fulfil my ambition of becoming a professional dressage rider and at the beginning of 2016 an opportunity came about for me to move to Germany to ride and train full time in a Dressage stable with Australian Ben Conn.

Recently in 2018, I represented New Zealand with my Jazz x Sandro Hit 6yo mare, Hello D’Ottie at the World Young Horse Championships, coming 20th in the Small Final. We also finished 8th in the final of the Pavo Cup with 79% as well as 2nd best mare for 6yos. I have been riding my mare for the last two years and have my heart set on many future goals with her. I hope to qualify again for The World Young Horse Championships in 2019 and ultimately work towards the Olympic Games in 2024. I believe with hard work and dedication we can achieve this, and currently we are on track with our training to reach these goals!

I’m very proud to have received support from such a forward thinking and New Zealand company in VetPro. I regularly used there products while I was based in NZ as they are always searching for improvements and broadening there range in supplements. Their products will go a long way in helping me prepare my horse in the best possible way and I’m very grateful for there generous support!!

The Reid Family, Endurance Riders

“This season the horses we will be competing are Kowhai Martini, Supre Najinski and Mauku Waheed, due to the terrible weather over the winter we have only just started getting the horses into work so a very late start for us and we have missed the first couple of events, December will be our first competitive ride at the 1* event being held by Kohuratahi Club – Stratford.  We also have a couple of novice horses to get started.

We will be looking to compete in the 3* 160km at the North Island Champs with both Marty and Waheed and the 2* 120km with Boris (Najinski) this event is being held in Taupo in January.  Hopefully summer will eventually arrive and we will have some nice weather for our events we are hoping to attend rides up to Easter where we will finish the season off at the National Championship’s in the South Island with Boris doing his first 3*160km and plans for the others will depend on how the season has gone for us.”
