Elise Power

4* Eventing Rider
The 2022-23 season will be with my two main horses Arctic Cielo and WonderStrike. Both horses will aim to compete consistently at 3* level eventing and continue to show jump at Amateur and Pro-Amateur level. Arctic Cielo is likely to step back up to 4* eventing and both horses will aim for the Young Rider Oceania Team to compete for New Zealand at the end of the season.

Alongside competing I coach private clients regularly and weekly at local pony clubs. I am also a full time Masters student studying at Massey University and will continue studying throughout this season.

We have been using Vetpro supplements for a number of years and the first aid kit is always Vetpro. The horses thrive on them and we are firm believers in Vetpro's products that actually work.

Sarah Wilkinson

NZ Dressage Rider currently based in England
We have had a great start to the season here so far. Koko has had seven starts for 5 wins. We qualified for the winter championships and she won the Elementary Silver Championship with a score of 73.28% in very good company. We also qualified for the Nexgen Young Horse finals which is held in Hickstead end of September, so I’m very excited to head there for that.  We have our Summer Regionals this weekend at Elementary and Medium in the Gold section with some very big competition.

Hello was on fire earlier this year and we were meant to go to our first CDI here in the UK but we had a very unfortunate mishap with her shoeing. She was out of work for 5 or so weeks which led us to miss out the winter champs at Advanced Medium/PSG. However slowly bringing her back in to work and I’d say we will be out end of season.

I have been making use of the great products that were in the Vetpro medical bag, especially at the time with Hello's foot issues. The poultices and cooling gels are great. I also love the fungal cleansing shampoo, it makes their coats so soft and looking great! During the warmer weather I find the electrolyte and B Boost paste fantastic! My mum always used these back in NZ when we were competing.  Thank you so much for your support, it means a lot and helps my team of fabulous horses!

Henrike Puketapu

Dressage Rider
I am originally from Germany and a full time equestrian, my main focus is dressage and showing. I have also competed in show hunter, show jumping and eventing.
My husband and I run HSP Hanoverians. My main team consists of 3 horses. My youngest HSP Raven (imp. Germany) just finished her first competitive season winning the Preliminary Gold North Island title. My super mare HSP Soe (imp. Germany) had an equally successful season, also winning the North Island title for Medium gold. She has won the Elementary Super 5 League 2021 and the Zilco Musical Freestyle Series for Novice and Elementary in 2019 and 2021. Soe will move up to Advanced Medium next season. Soe also holds multiple Champion and Supreme titles, most significantly being the National Riding Horse title in January 2021.

My trusted Friesian Alexander M is currently competing at FEI level 7 and I am hoping that successful winter training will prepare him for a start at levels 8/9 next season. While he isn’t necessarily a record beater , he is definitely a crowd pleaser and attracts attention everywhere he goes.

Tiffany Mullany

Vetpro Ambassador
Vetpro is proud to have Tiffany Mullany as one of our Vetpro Ambassador’s this season with her team of lovely horses, Nina (15yo mini), Spree (19yo Arab x QH) and Joe (12yo standardbred) who we are told are all looking and feeling amazing in Vetpro products.

Joey the standie is the coolest dude Tiffany has ridden and absolutely loves hacking in the forest. His ex-race trainers can’t believe how awesome he is going. Loving Muscle Max, Digest Rite and Everyday Minerals.

Vetpro Ambassador
Cracker and myself had a great season in the 2020 -2021 season, coming home with many wides and good results such as, Champion Inhand and Supreme Inhand at the South Island Pinto Show, and qualifying for HOY in the Inhand & Ridden Pintos and the Working hunter.

Cracker has just come back into work and we are working towards qualifying for the Pintos and Working Hunters for HOY and hopefully making it there this season with no complications due to COVID. Good luck to everyone else competing this season.

Natasha Hatton

Vetpro Ambassador
We are happy to have on board as a Vetpro Ambassador Natasha Hatton and Shereef who are on top of their game.

Using Vetpro products and advice provided has never disappointed and it’s greatly appreciated to have the support of such a high-quality brand behind Shereef and I moving forward. I am looking forward to working with you this coming season.

Stable to Stirrup

Stable to Stirrup is a registered charitable trust founded by a group of passionate people in Canterbury who want to create a viable option for standardbred horses when they retire from their harness racing career.

Due to limited resources, many Standardbreds don't get a chance to have a life after racing, however, we are committed to changing this. We facilitate the retraining and rehoming of these horses as they come off the track.

Our programme sees the horses transition from racing stable to being started under saddle, and then on to a new home when they are ready. Standardbreds are becoming well-known as great riding horses and companion animals.

Jessica Woods

Event Rider
I’m really looking forward to this season coming as I have a wonderful and talented bunch of horses coming out, such as LV So Predictable (grand daughter of my first eventer Too Predictable who won many national titles eventing), TMS Balou Bert who is very flashy bred by Balou De Route and Contendros 1, and many more young ones. I also have LV Gee Whizz which I’m hoping to consolidate at 3*** level, and LV Total Recall who I’m going to step up to 2** next season.

For all this to happen, it’s the people working behind the scenes to make the horse perform at their best, such as Vetpro products, I particularly use Muscle max and Flex Equine plus (for joints). Vetpro offer a wide range of products for every situation or requirement.

BRING ON NEXT SEASON.

Beth Wilson

Eventer
This season I have a young team of horses who will be competing. Mallory Square will be competing with the plan of stepping up to 2*, aiming for the Taupo 3 Day.

Astek Guinness will be making his eventing debut, this is a very exciting horse for the future.

I also have the ride on Pebbles for Michelle Wilson, who will be aiming for both Puhinui and Taupo 3 Day.

Molly Lumb

Dressage Rider
The 2020 / 2021 season started off with a bang, winning Open Elementary champion at the 2020 Central Districts Premier League Dressage Championships on Griffindor MH. Unfortunately after this it all came crashing down having to retire Griffindor MH due to injury.

I am now off to the Netherlands to work for Van Olst Horses and Charlotte Fry as a groom on the 11th of April 2022. It has all happened so fast but is a amazing opportunity I couldn't say no to! In the mean time our old boy 'Jack' and his paddock mate 'Buttons' will stay at home and be looked after by Mum.

I am so grateful for all of the support from Vetpro this season and it is an absolute privilege to be apart of the team.

I've been riding for 25 years, competing in dressage, eventing, show jumping and showing. I've competed at North Island Pony Club Show Jumping champs x5, NZ PC dressage champs x2 where I was part of the winning senior team and winning overall teams, taking out highest placed first time rider to champs the first year. I was 1st reserve for the NZPC eventing team x2.

I took my best hack to Horse of the Year in Hastings 2019 and 2020, gaining Reserve Champion Standardbred of the Year. I produced him from scratch, so it was an absolute honour to get the placing we did.

11 years ago I moved to Invercargill to work in a harness racing stable, where my passion grew, and I've since produced a number of off the track thoroughbreds and standardbreds. In 2018 I took out my harness racing trainers licence. I have trained 15 winners, with 11 coming from my stable favourite Ivana Legacy. She's travelled a lot to Christchurch, including racing NZ Cup day in Christchurch twice. She's now at stud.

My current hack is The Fixer. He was very successful, with one of his main wins being NZ Cup. He'll be my next show horse, competing in showing and dressage and maybe a little bit of jumping. Tosti has come a very long way in the time I have had him. We are having lessons with Bill Noble and I can’t wait for the new season to see how we go.So far we have been to 2 shows, with a total of 5 champions including supreme!

I have been using B Boost and Quick-Lyte for many years now on my race horses and wouldn’t use anything else. All the horses including the children’s pony gets everyday minerals and Muscle Max has been a great starter for the horses.

I’ve been with Vetpro a few years now, previously with my Stationbred “Mr Blue” whom I started doing Trek for Life NZ on & dabbled in Endurance.

Unfortunately Mr Blue had to retire due to a heart condition & so now “Django”, my young Overo Paint/Warmblood from the Far North, has taken on our Vetpro Sponsorship and Trek for Life NZ.

Every March we complete 180-200km over a week - 3 days riding, a rest day, then 3 more days in the saddle. There are also mountain bikers & walkers who do the same route alongside approximately 150 horses!

There is a large camp & volunteers who move down the country with us, we started from Cape Reinga a few years ago & are aiming to complete the length of NZ.

There is a large amount of logistics involved and it’s all done for charity. Our fees, sponsorships, auctions etc all raise funds for the First Responders - Fire, Surf Rescue and St. Johns, in all the remote areas we ride through.

Vetpro provides Django with his Everyday Minerals, Electrolytes, Muscle Max, Digest Rite Sport, First Aid, Shampoo and a lot of Sunblock Powder! to help with the large amount of training involved. To support him during Trek week, he has additional Quicklyte & B-Boost Pastes, which are invaluable when travelling such large distances.

Thank you so much for sponsoring the Pony Club camp in Gore.

I took my pony Kobie. We had lots and lots of fun and we listened and learned from some really nice horse-mad people just like me.I love my ponies and it was so fun to hang out with my friends at camp.

My goal this year is to jump 1.10m on my pony Kobie and to jump 90cm on my young pony Baxter. My favourite lesson at pony club camp was the horse bones with Becks Nairn because it was really interesting looking at the bone fractures as I have fractured myself 3 times but only once from a horse.

Even though the weather was wet Mum was excited to have a free lake view from the truck, but it wasnt my favourite thing to walk through to feed my pony.

I am a photographer living in Cambridge, NZ. Last season Varekai SL (aka Marlon) and I had some good results in the Pro am and 1.30m classes.

I recently purchased a rising 6 year old mare 'Stormy' that I have been getting to know over the winter and getting them both out to some winter training days.

My aim for the next season is to continue to keep my horses as happy and consistent throughout the season as I can, and forming a good partnership with Stormy.
