I am a photographer living in Cambridge, NZ.
Last season Varekai SL (aka Marlon) and I had some good results in the Pro am and 1.30m classes.
I recently purchased a rising 6 year old mare ‘Stormy’ that I have been getting to know over the winter and getting them both out to some winter training days.
My aim for the next season is to continue to keep my horses as happy and consistent throughout the season as I can, and forming a good partnership with Stormy.
We are pleased Emily Hayward-Morgan will continue as a Vetpro sponsored rider this season.
Waikato based Emily has used and recommended Vetpro products for over 10 years and is excited to be a part of the Vetpro team
I’m really looking forward to this season coming as I have a wonderful and talented bunch of horses coming out, such as LV So Predictable (grand daughter of my first eventer Too Predictable who won many national titles eventing), TMS Balou Bert who is very flashy bred by Balou De Route and Contendros 1, and many more young ones. I also have LV Gee Whizz which I’m hoping to consolidate at 3*** level, and LV Total Recall who I’m going to step up to 2** next season. For all this to happen, it’s the people working behind the scenes to make the horse perform at their best, such as Vetpro products, I particularly use Muscle max and Flex Equine plus (for joints). Vetpro offer a wide range of products for every situation or requirement. BRING ON NEXT SEASON.
Mr Blue is our 18yr old Stationbred Blue Roan/Appaloosa we got about 2 yrs. He originally came with bad allergies. Bringing him up to Auckland he mad many treatments, diet change & Vetpro products which combined did the trick & we haven’t looked back. Mr Blue also has trouble floating, & we found Vetpro Arctic Blast Cool Down Spray, Arctic Blast Bandages, Aloe Cool Gel, B-Boost & Quicklyte pastes, are essential for him to travel long distances. Mr Blue has turned out to be a bit of a “Duracell Bunny” & totally loves Endurance, and is doing the Trek For Life.
Vetpro is proud to have Tiffany Mullany as one of our Vetpro Ambassador’s this season with her team of lovely horses, Nina (15yo mini), Spree (19yo Arab x QH) and Joe (12yo standardbred) who we are told are all looking and feeling amazing in Vetpro products.
Joey the standie is the coolest dude Tiffany has ridden and absolutely loves hacking in the forest. His ex-race trainers can’t believe how awesome he is going. Loving Muscle Max, Digest Rite and Everyday Minerals.
The bay is my 5yo mare Koko and the chestnut, my 8yo mare Hello.
My name is Sarah Wilkinson, I am a 26 year old New Zealand Dressage rider and grew up in North Auckland, Kaukapakapa. As a young rider in New Zealand I won multiple Young Rider titles throughout NZ, North Island Championships, Regional Championships and won two FEI Children’s World Challenges.
After completing my university degree, I was eager to move to Europe to further my training and fulfil my ambition of becoming a professional dressage rider and at the beginning of 2016 an opportunity came about for me to move to Germany to ride and train full time in a Dressage stable with Australian Ben Conn.
I have ultimately been working towards one of my goals being Olympic Games in 2024. I believe with hard work and dedication we can achieve this, and currently we are on track with our training to reach these goals!
I’m very proud to have received support from such a forward thinking and New Zealand company in VetPro. Their products will go a long way in helping me prepare my horse in the best possible way and I’m very grateful for there generous support!!
The 2020 / 2021 season started off with a bang, winning Open Elementary champion at the 2020 Central Districts Premier League Dressage Championships on Griffindor MH. Unfortunately after this it all came crashing down having to retire Griffindor MH due to injury.
I am now on the look out for my next dancing partner to continue what I love most.
I am so grateful for all of the support from Vetpro this season and it is an absolute privilege to be apart of the team.
We started last season with a couple of 40km rides which we held here at home. For Mauku Sonny our young horse he did the two 40km novice rides really well. My first ride with Marty (Kowhai Martini) was at the Kohuratahi (on the forgotten highway near Stratford) a 100km CEI * in which we were 2nd. Splash (Glendaar Splash of Fire) was ridden by Megan Gaukroder to a successful completion in 5th.
Our next event was the North Island Champs 160km CEI*** we went into the ride a little underdone but I was really pleased with another 2nd placing. Splash and Megan entered the 120km CEI** and again had a great finish for 3rd.
We then went South to the Nenthorn Valley not too far from Dunedin and competed at the Nationals we took Marty and Splash.
I was thrilled to win the National CEI160*** on Marty and Megan and Splash were 4th. We had a fantastic time in the South Island and the horses went so well.
Marty and I have also won the FEI series for the season so extremely happy.
Next season our club Kohuratahi is running the National ride so I am hoping that all three horses are fit and ready for it.
We are anticipating another great season with the horses.
We really appreciate our sponsors Vetpro and the great products we use. Vetpro always have great advice for us ensuring that our horses are competition ready.
We are happy to have on board as a Vetpro Ambassador Natasha Hatton and Shereef who are on top of their game.
Using Vetpro products and advice provided has never disappointed and it’s greatly appreciated to have the support of such a high-quality brand behind Shereef and I moving forward. I am looking forward to working with you this coming season.
